Classmate Profile: Alejandra Villalobos
Alejandra is a hard worker.
As both a full-time employee and a full time student, meaning 40 hours at work and 15 units at school, 'hard worker' is an understatement.
But what is really impressive is that despite having a potential 80 hour workload a week split up between her PR Major and her job as an optician, she still has time to party.
And you better believe she parties as hard as she works.
What's more impressive is that she never lets cutting loose get in the way of her school or work, even showing up to work hungover but fully functioning.
"Never again," she said about the experience.
Perhaps her ability to balance her life in such a way comes from being not just the middle child in her family but being the most middle a middle child can be, with an older sister and a younger brother, twelve years older and younger than her respectively.
"I have no hobbies," Alejandra said, regarding how she keeps up with it all. Indeed, other than cutting loose on the weekend, she doesn't really have pursuits outside of her work and school.
She does however, profess a love for reality TV, in particular MTV's "The Challenge" which pits alumni from other reality TV shows against each other Avengers style.
"Alejandra is always up for anything, regardless (of) how stressed or tired she is," said her sister.
However, lest one were to believe that means that she is strict or staid about her time, her sister says: "She can be super spontaneous as well," adding that she's "Always willing to make time for friends and family."
Part of her success is pure grit.
She has never called in sick to work in her life, not even when she was in fact, actually sick.
